Amina Maswadeh will be serving as the Community Engagement Officer at the FYI. She received her Bachelors of Arts from University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Health Administration and Policy with a specialization in Public Health.
She has previous experience working within the mental health field as a Project and Outreach Coordinator at National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Metropolitan Baltimore. She has served many years as a volunteer in local masajid and Muslim communities.
Amina is excited in her new endeavor as a Community Engagement Officer. She hopes to use her skills to support, engage, and empower Muslim communities.
