Tradition plays an essential role in the development of a child’s self-worth. The holiday season can be an excellent opportunity to have conversations with our families – about celebrations, juggling multiple identities, and how to approach it all as a Muslim American family. That’s why our team recorded “Stocking Stuffers, Halloween Candy, and Sighting the Moon: A conversation on holidays, belonging, and parenting Muslim children.”

In this conversation, Dr. Madiha Tahseen, child and family therapist Duaa Haggag, and intern Mahnoor Faheem discuss some of the common questions parents are juggling with when it comes to the holiday season.
